ROUND PUCK / FLAT + SUSPENDED

On the desk.
In the air.

Keep it attached in both positions. Your keyboard rests level on its own feet, while the puck keeps its 15° tilt. Lift the keyboard onto its mount, and the whole attachment comes with it.

Keyboard level on its own feet. Both puck soles touch the same desk plane; the clamp lip and screws stay above it. The puck keeps its 15° angle. Pale keyboard and foot positions are illustrative.

01 / ONE ATTACHMENT, BOTH POSITIONS

Set it down. Pick it up.

A slim padded lip fits beneath the case. The thick clamp block and its short screws sit outside the case, above the desk. Two permanent legs support the puck on rubber soles at the same height as the keyboard’s feet.

When you lift the keyboard, the case clamp and bolted retaining ring keep the puck captured. Its desk legs stay attached. No swapping parts or changing the angle. The existing enclosure, rubber feet, and rear USB access remain intact.

02 / FIT YOUR SETUP

A level keyboard starts with the feet.

The default needs 2 mm installed keyboard feet, an 8.2 mm closed case, 56 mm of straight edge, a bare 4 mm top ledge, and 8 mm of clear underside. The 1.2 mm lip and 0.5 mm pad leave a 0.3 mm gap above the desk. No keyboard risers are needed for that fit.

Print the fit check first and measure your actual feet. All keyboard feet and both puck soles must touch together without rocking. Shorter feet or thicker pads need a revised fit. Check key travel, case grip, and ordinary touch pressure before suspended use.

03 / MAKE THE NEW ONE

Print once. Use in both positions.

Hardware: two M3 × 12 mm clamp bolts, three M3 × 20 mm ring bolts, five M3 nuts and washers, 0.5 mm jaw pads, and 0.8 mm edge and sole pads. Use the shorter clamp bolts specified for this revision.

CAD and mesh check results are included with this new design.

Geometry checks cover the desk plane, both sole contacts, zero added keyboard lift, and retention stops in all six directions. Physical fit, desk stability and suspended strength still need testing.
